As the protagonist, the player assumes the role of Human, a chosen deity tasked with fostering relationships with the Seven Lucky Gods aboard a mystical treasure ship. Interactions take place within the vessel, granting players freedom to navigate its spaces with a simple tap on the screen. Conversing with the Seven Lucky Gods increases their affection towards the player, triggering new events based on various factors such as relationship status, weather conditions, and previously encountered events. With an extensive array of over a hundred diverse events, players can obtain event-specific conditions by engaging with in-game advertisements.
Interactions with the Seven Lucky Gods are gradual, not all characters revealing their true intentions from the outset. Over time, players gain insights into each deity's motivations and struggles, adding depth to the gameplay experience. The ability to deceive the Seven Lucky Gods introduces an intriguing layer of gameplay dynamics, allowing players to alter the narrative's trajectory through deceit.
Rainbow Sea boasts intricately crafted character designs that authentically mirror the distinct traits of each deity, complemented by a musical score that artfully blends Japanese influences with chiptune elements.
